Items Discussed

  1. FTB Update
    1. Rinku and team discussed the FTB bug occuring during FTB agent connection time handshake. FTB 0.6.1 will have a retry solution as a temporary fix to this bug. This bug will be added to the known bugs list. FTB 0.7 will have a more permanent solution
    2. Team will need to provide feedback to the CIFTS BOF draft
    3. CIFTS review will take place on Aug 27th/28th. Rinku will forward details, as she gets them
  2. ORNL
    1. Aniruddha has FTB integrated with the Fusion applications. A dummy fault injector is currently throwing node failure ftb events. These events are caught by the FTB-enabled fusion application. Exact reaction by the fusion application will be worked upon by the ORNL team (Hoony and Anirudda need to complete their dicussion)
  3. OSU
    1. MVAPICH 1.4 RC2 will be FTB-enabled. Release expected shortly
    2. FTB-IB 1.0 has been tested with FTB 0.6.1 RC1. No problems reported.
  4. IU
    1. Working on Open MPI FT. Nothing significant
