Adding Printers on the Macintosh

If you have administrator rights on your Macintosh all you really need to do is download the following disk image, mount it by double clicking on it once it's been downloaded, and then run the installer package included in it called MCS_Printers.mpkg by double clicking on it.

You will be able to choose the printers that you would like to install.

Please do not share your printers on the network. In Tiger, uncheck "Share these printers" in the sharing tab of the Printing Preferences. In Leopard, under Sharing Preferences, uncheck "Printer Sharing".

If there is a printer you believe should be served by our print server, but is not, please let us know.
